PARATUS® Change +STACK
The PARATUS® Change +STACK is a particularly compact system that combines pallet changing and stacking. As a pallet changer with a stacking function, it completes two steps in one pass without requiring extra effort.
First, the pallet change takes place as usual. The loaded start pallet is placed in the device and the target pallet is picked up with an industrial truck. The target pallet is then used to push the start pallet out the back. In less than 30 seconds, the goods are safely on the target pallet.
The emptied start pallets, however, are not returned; they are automatically stacked directly above the push-out area. This creates an especially space-efficient solution, which is ideal for storage areas where every square meter counts.

Things to know about the pallet changer with stacking function
The PARATUS® Change +STACK is a pallet changer with an automatic stacking function. This eliminates an extra step in the warehouse. With a standard pallet changer, the empty start pallet is returned to the front after the change. Then, it must be picked up, transported, and stacked manually. With the PARATUS® Change +STACK, however, this step happens automatically.
If the pallets were different sizes, they would not stack neatly on top of each other in the magazine. This could result in unstable stacks and disrupt the automated process. For this reason, the pallet changer with a stacking function at the front cannot be designed to accommodate multiple pallet sizes. While the COMBI version of the PARATUS® Change CLASSIC can handle different formats, the PARATUS® Change +STACK's integrated stacking function requires that pallets of the same format be collected.
Yes, the PARATUS® Change +STACK is designed to be easy and intuitive to use. Employees with no prior technical knowledge can safely operate the device after a brief introduction. Therefore, the training required for the pallet changer with stacking function is minimal.
